GEMOVE: Journal of Gender, Movement, and Empowerment is a scientific publication managed and published by Lombok Business Academy under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief Suci Ramadhani Putri.

Journal Scope: GEMOVE examines gender economics and equal access to the economy, including analyses of the gap in access to economic resources between men and women. The journal addresses community-based economic empowerment and women's entrepreneurship by exploring strategies and business models that promote women's economic independence.

The focus of the study includes wage inequality, decent work, women's labour protection, and the impact of economic policies on gender-based vulnerable groups. GEMOVE also analyses women's social movements in demanding economic justice and innovation and technology for women's economic empowerment in the digital era.
The journal examines the role of institutions, the state, and NGOs in supporting women's economic independence, adopting feminist perspectives in development economics and political economy. As a commitment to sustainability, GEMOVE also discusses ecofeminism and sustainable economics based on gender justice.

Manuscript Submission Deadline: November 2, 2025

The Editorial Board of GEMOVE: Journal of Gender, Movement, and Empowerment cordially invites scholars, researchers, practitioners, and activists to submit original manuscripts for publication in the inaugural issue (Volume 1, Number 1), scheduled for release in November 2025.

GEMOVE is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that aims to explore and promote scholarly discourse on gender, social movements, and empowerment from multidisciplinary and intersectional perspectives. The journal welcomes critical and innovative contributions that examine issues related to gender equality, social justice, feminist theory, community empowerment, and transformative social change.

Manuscripts may be written in either English or Bahasa Indonesia, and must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

The final deadline for manuscript submission is November 2, 2025. The issue will be published by the end of November 2025.
